Marketing Manager, Memberships

Frieze is looking for a Marketing Manager to help us scale up the successful membership and subscription programmes we launched in 2021. In this role, you will support the Frieze 91 membership and Publishing teams working across frieze magazine and frieze.com in shaping and delivering acquisition and retention strategies across UK, US, Europe and Asia.

In addition, two years ago we launched Frieze Membership, including the premium Frieze 91 membership featuring exclusive access to Frieze fairs and a year-round programme of events; plus No.9 Cork Street, a hub for visiting international galleries in the heart of Mayfair, London.

What You’ll Do:

Frieze is looking for a Marketing Manager to help us scale up the successful membership and subscription programmes we launched in 2021. In this role, you will support the Frieze 91 membership and Publishing teams working across frieze magazine and frieze.com in shaping and delivering acquisition and retention strategies across UK, US, Europe and Asia. 

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Lead on the marketing plans to drive awareness and contribute to the acquisition members pipeline and conversion. 
  • Lead the owned data marketing plans and strategy to drive an integrated approach, including the set up and maintenance of automated email journeys and other marketing automations, with the support of the central IMG digital marketing team. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring all parties are closely aligned and working towards Frieze membership goals and objectives in order to optimise and grow our membership base. 
  • Innovate and share new ideas and tactics to drive membership growth. 
  • Ensure customers have a consistent end to end journey, from marketing creative to checkout. 
  • Manage the ecommerce recovery plan, ensuring strategies are actioned and optimised to recover customers that abandoned the marketing landing pages. 
  • Oversee the production of regular reports about membership KPIs and support product teams with audience research and actionable insights based on customer behaviour. 
  • Manage and support the development of the Membership Services Executive.
  • Oversee customer service processes for membership, including magazine distribution list for Frieze 91 members

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Substantial experience of lifecycle marketing strategies and membership programmes 
  • Digital-first marketing experience 
  • Ecommerce understanding is desirable 
  • Experience working in luxury or high end art markets
